Applegate Properties scoops silver at The Negotiator Awards

9th Nov, 2016

We are delighted to reveal that last week we clinched a silver honour at The Negotiator Awards!

Our managing director Amy Wray and lettings negotiator Laura Simpson took a trip down to London, to attend the prestigious awards at the Hilton hotel on Park Lane.

And, with the anticipation building in the office for the past few weeks, we were both excited and nervous for the big night!

So, it was amazing to come away with silver for the Yorkshire & The Humber Agency of the Year, which was sponsored by The Property Software Group. The category aims to acknowledge the very best companies within our region – based on customer service, innovation, business growth and staff development opportunities.

Commenting on what the win means to us, Amy said: “This great news follows a year of continued success for us. We’ve grown to a team of ten, and are now the fastest selling agent in our area. We believe that’s testament to our dedication to excellent customer service.

“So it’s fantastic to be recognised by a board of industry experts, who also think we’re doing a great job!”

The evening itself was a grand affair – after a 3-course meal was served and the awards were presented, the party took off as the DJ drummer ‘Afishal’ got started and led everyone to the dancefloor, where we stayed until the early hours!

Throughout the evening monies were also raised for charity Crisis, through donations, a live auction and even a charity casino.

Explaining why we were chosen as a winner, the judges said: “Applegate Properties has a fresh approach and attitude, along with a story of excellent growth.”

The board of judges included Propertydrum’s managing directors Sheila Manchester and Grant Leonard, ARLA president Nik Madan, and director of Savills Roger Southam.

In 2014 and 2015 we won the bronze award for this very same accolade – so fingers crossed for gold in 2017!
