Managing Director, Amy Wray visited Holmfirth High School this month to speak to pupils about employment and life as a business owner.
Amy was approached by Holmfirth High School following a recommendation from fellow Holme Valley business, Pepamint. Amy jumped at the idea and felt this was a great opportunity to inspire and motivate young people who have the potential to become future entrepreneurs.
Amy visited the school to share her knowledge and offer advice to Year 10 pupils taking the Business Studies module. Amy has had the opportunity to share her experiences of setting up in business and the reality of doing so. As a keen supporter of apprenticeships, Amy encouraged the pupils to consider apprenticeships as they are quickly becoming a crucial part to many businesses.
Amy hopes her involvement with the school will inspire the pupils when choosing their future career choices.
