Operating in the property industry means we’re constantly tasked with ‘looking ahead’ – whether that’s to scope out the next best thing the market has to offer our customers, or forecasting potential challenges that might require strategic navigation.

But sometimes, it’s just as important to reflect too. And with so many monumental occasions to celebrate this year, we wanted to take the time to do just that. Here, our Holmfirth estate agents team has accumulated five of the most noteworthy highlights to shine a light on, before we dive head-first into 2023…

  1. Success at The Negotiator Awards

Without a shadow of a doubt, our proudest achievement over the past twelve months is coincidentally our most recent too. To not only be shortlisted in five categories at the industry’s most renowned awards ceremony, but also to take home four of those titles on the night, was a real triumph for the business.

Our expert team of property professionals is committed to driving company growth, as well as delivering the ultimate customer experience. To receive such independent recognition for these ongoing efforts is the perfect way to head into the new year.

  1. Delivering exceptional customer service

Despite increasing competition in Huddersfield and Holmfirth, Applegate Properties remains the fastest-growing agent in the area – consistently increasing our market share year-on-year.

With the continued growth of our sales department, and the team’s attention to detail, expertise, and timely communication, we’ve also seen the company maintain exceptional reviews – including 5 stars on AllAgents, 4.6 on Google, and 4.8 stars on Facebook.

  1. Welcoming Claire Hepenstall into the fold

Sales advisor, Claire Hepenstall, may only have joined the Applegate Properties estate and lettings agent team in June, but she’s made a significant impact in that time to customers and colleagues alike.

Armed with an impressive customer service and sales background, Claire manages each home that comes onto the market for sale, as well as her own property and client portfolio. Already playing a key role within the sales department and helping to augment the company’s high standards, we look forward to seeing her continued growth.

  1. Tayla Booty returning from maternity leave

Anyone who knows Applegate Properties knows that we thrive as a collective. That’s why it was such a pleasure to see sales advisor, Tayla Booty, return to HQ in March after the birth of her beautiful daughter, Harper, last March.

As well as revelling in the daily new-born tales and pictures, tapping into Tayla’s vast sales and lettings experience once again has been invaluable – particularly when it comes to realising even higher standards throughout the sales process.

  1. Being part of so many momentous occasions

The sales and lettings industry doesn’t come without its challenges, but it’s an endlessly exciting space too! Whether it’s a couple trying to get onto the property ladder and purchase their first home, or a landlord seeking their tenth project, it’s always special to play such a key part in the journey.

…And we get to  do it all again in 2023!
